The Framecastic ST 2110 Encoder takes up to 16 uncompressed video and audio streams off a broadcast IP fabric over SMPTE ST 2110-20/-30 and encodes them in real time to H.264 or H.265 MPEG-TS for distribution. Ingest arrives on four 25GbE SFP28 ports across two Intel 25GbE network cards, with ST 2022-7 seamless protection switching and hardware PTP. It is the path a facility uses once it has moved to ST 2110 and needs the compressed side of the house fed.
